Introduction

Session 1. Making the Book (2 hours)

You will create a painted magical container infused by your energy and your heart’s desire. Listening to your inner wisdom you will dedicate the book to a theme that will unfold during a visualization exercise. The book will serve as a space for your to connect, heal, remember, celebrate, dream, play and have fun.

Unleash your creative spirit and improve your resilience by telling your life story in a cosmic smash book written, painted and personalized by you for you.

In our monthly gatherings we will learn art journaling techniques with a twist of the intentional creativity method. We will process our life stories and intentions and open our heart to allow our muse to write, paint and smash a new story.

In each workshop we will work with a different theme and innovative non-traditional mixed media techniques. You will create a personalized journal and learn how to create various types of pages inside the book and develop a habit of daily practice while trying out a variety of painting techniques.

All materials are included. You do not need to know how to draw or paint just be curious about what is at the tip of your brush and pen. Creating art is fun and is for everyone!

Mixed media paper, composition book, paint, variety of brushes, various mediums, pens, etc. are all provided.
Ages 13+

You can take one or all workshops.

Session 2. Grounding Page (2 hours)

You will paint a grounding page to return to when you need to gather the energy you infused into the book, to slow down and take a breath during stressful times, to become present and mindful when your mind is wondering far away. It is breathing in. Note: If you do not have a book you will create one making its cover for grounding.

Session 3. Resting Page (2 hours)

You will paint a resting page to let go of energy that does not serve you anymore. It will serve as a container to get a break from an issue and come back to it later with a clearer mind, to process emotions, past memories and daily triggers that you cannot process in the moment. It is breathing out. Note: If you do not have a book you will create one making its cover for resting.
